What we're asked

We understand that our potential guests have a range of questions and we've pulled together the ones we're asked most.

Of course, if you have any other questions not answered here, you can just drop us a message and we'll be more than happy to talk you through anything, with no obligation.

Yes. Your journey does not end when you leave Thailand.

Returning home can be one of the most challenging parts of any lifestyle change, and many people find they need a little extra support to stay on track. We remain available for guidance and check-ins, and a high number of clients return to the programme for an additional boost. You will not be left to figure things out alone.
The structured programme runs six days a week. Sundays are a dedicated rest day, giving you the chance to relax, reflect and explore the beauty of Chiang Mai at your own pace. On Saturday mornings, the team offers optional excursions to some of the region’s highlights, including mountain viewpoints, temples, ethical elephant sanctuaries and zip-lining adventures.

While in resort, we can share details of further activities you may wish to try.
Your place on the programme is confirmed once you have booked your flights and paid the deposit of £500. This deposit is non-refundable, and cancellations will result in the forfeiture of the entire amount. There are no credits or refunds for late arrivals or early departures.

Travel insurance is strongly recommended to protect your plans and peace of mind. The balance of your programme fee is due on arrival and can be paid by cash or bank transfer. Please note that we do not currently offer credit card payment facilities.
Chiang Mai enjoys warm, pleasant weather for most of the year. The climate varies slightly between seasons, so we encourage you to check a trusted forecast for the month you plan to travel. Many visitors find the combination of warmth and fresh mountain air ideal for gentle exercise and outdoor activities.
We recommend packing comfortable training clothes, trainers, sunscreen, insect repellent and a pair of jogging bottoms or similar for cooler evenings. Chiang Mai has many places to shop, so anything you forget can be purchased locally. Laundry facilities are readily available too. Please remember to bring all medication you take regularly, as this is essential for your wellbeing while travelling.
We work with a selection of trusted accommodation options in and around Chiang Mai. These include comfortable apartments and hotel-style residences, all with access to pools, gyms and the facilities you need to fully engage with the programme.

Availability varies throughout the year, so we use a small portfolio of locations with excellent transport links and peaceful surroundings.
Yes. We know that life at home can be busy, so your dates and the length of your stay are fully flexible. Whether you are planning a two-week break or a month-long reset, our team will work with you to find the timings that fit your commitments and your goals.
Your meals will be nourishing, delicious and designed to support healthy, steady weight loss. The programme includes a mix of Thai and Western dishes, all high in protein and lower in calories to help you feel full and energised.

You will also have protein-rich snacks throughout the day to keep cravings at bay and to make the journey feel enjoyable rather than restrictive.
When you arrive at Chiang Mai Airport, a friendly member of our local team will be there to welcome you. They will take you directly to your accommodation, help you settle in and answer any questions you may have.

We understand that long-haul travel can be tiring, so you will have time to rest and adjust to the time difference before we gently introduce you to the next day’s schedule. From the moment you land, everything is taken step by step and at a pace that suits you.
Choosing a weight management programme can feel overwhelming, but our personalised approach makes Splendid Health the right choice for many people.

When you contact our specialist, Jason, in the UK, he will take the time to understand your goals, health background and lifestyle. He will then guide you through the elements of the programme that will work best for you, ensuring your stay in Thailand becomes a life-changing and sustainable start to your wellness journey.
