The legal stuff - Terms and conditions
Just like most companies, we have a range of information we're required to provide, or support our customers with, such as privacy policies, cookie policies and terms and conditions.
We know nobody likes these, but they're required, as much to protect our guests as ourselves.
Table Of Contents
1. About us and these terms
The website at https://splendidhealththailand.com is operated by Splendid Voyage, trading as Splendid Health Management (“we”, “us”). Our details and contact address are in the Privacy Policy. We provide information about our services and retreats. These terms cover use of the website. Booking terms for retreats are issued separately.
We display required company and service-provider information in line with UK e-commerce and trading disclosure rules.
These terms were last updated on 22/01/2026.
2. Using our site
Use the site lawfully. Do not try to damage, disrupt or misuse it. We reserve the right to block access, or take appropriate legal action, against anyone who attempts to use or access our site in a way not compliant with UK law. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms.
3. Content and reliance
We work to keep content accurate, yet it is for general information only. It is not medical advice. Always seek professional medical advice before starting any exercise or nutrition programme. We may change or update content without notice.
4. Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, we or our licensors own all content on the site. You may view pages for personal use. Do not copy, reuse or exploit content without permission.
5. Links
You may link to our homepage in a fair and legal way that does not harm our reputation. We are not responsible for third-party websites we link to.
6. Health, wellbeing and activity risks
Retreat activities may include exercise, walking, massage and other wellbeing activities. You may also opt to take part in other weekend or leisure activities (including by third-parties). We are not responsible for any injuries or ill health caused as a result of any activities you take part in during your retreat with us. As our guests are all responsible adults, you alone are responsible for deciding whether an activity is suitable for you and your abilities, and you must always follow safety guidance provided by our teams, or by third-party guides, facilities staff, or local authorities, at all times.
However, we do have contacts for local physicians and other practitioners we can provide on request, if needed.
7. Consumer information and cancellations for online purchases
If you buy any services online from us that start later, you will normally have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of contract. We will explain how to cancel and provide a model cancellation form. Some services may begin within the cooling-off period if you ask us to start, which can affect the right to cancel.
Package travel: where we sell a combined package, your booking will be covered by the UK Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018. Full details are in our separate Booking Terms.
8. Liability
We do not exclude or limit liability where the law does not allow it, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence. We are not responsible for loss or damage that was not foreseeable when you started using the site.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version date appears at the top.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
