We help people create healthier habits through simple routines, personalised guidance and the peaceful surroundings of northern Thailand. Our approach is grounded in honesty and compassion. You will never feel pressured or judged, but instead supported by a team who have lived the journey themselves.

Our retreats offer a complete reset. The mountains, temples and quiet routes of Chiang Mai create the ideal backdrop for clear thinking, gentle movement and progress you can maintain long after you return home.

Where we are

We are based in Chiang Mai, a peaceful city in northern Thailand surrounded by mountains, ancient temples and vibrant markets. It is a calm and grounding setting that makes it easier to slow down, re-establish routines and step away from the pressures of everyday life.

Guests often find that being far from home gives them the clarity, space and focus needed to reset both body and mind.

Meet the Team

Our small team combines professional experience with genuine understanding. Each person brings something unique to your journey, creating a safe, welcoming and supportive environment throughout your stay.

Jason Thomas – Programme Advisor

Jason splits his time between the UK and Thailand. He come from a background in rugby and badminton with more than 15 years of coaching experience.

For over 20 years, he lived with morbid obesity. His health was so poor that he was told he had less than a year to live unless he completely changed his lifestyle.

He started his journey in Thailand with Will, focusing on simple food choices and gentle exercise. Three years later, he'd lost 45 kilograms, reversed his type 2 diabetes and no longer needed the medication that once kept him alive.

Splendid Health Management exists because this programme saved his life. He understands the challenges, fears and hurdles that many guests face because he has lived them.

He sees his role now as key to supporting you with honesty, empathy and experience so you can build a healthier future.

Mr Jaruwat Tepinta (Will) – Co-Founder and Tour Company Director

Will has more than 15 years of leadership experience in Thailand’s travel and tourism industry. He specialises in outdoor educational programmes for international groups and has deep expertise in safety management, logistics and cross-cultural support.

Alongside his tourism experience, Will has a strong background in health and wellness consultation. His holistic approach focuses on preventative health, stress reduction and accessible physical activity.

His local knowledge, calm presence and commitment to guest care make him a key part of the Splendid Health Management experience.

Ms Chiranan Pakongwan (Gigi) – Licensed Pharmacist and Wellness Specialist

Gigi is an experienced pharmacist with over 10 years working in community pharmacy, medication counselling and public health education. She has a strong interest in integrative health, nutritional support, herbal medicine and safe supplement use.

She has published several articles on preventative healthcare, nutrition and rational medication use.

At Splendid Health Management, she combines scientific expertise with a compassionate approach to help guests understand their health, their medication needs and how lifestyle habits can support long-term wellbeing.

Her work supports the growing field of Healthy Tourism and ensures every stay is safe and informed.
